Amelia is now using the potty all the time. She hasn't had an accident in almost a week (except for naps and night time). It took letting her run around naked for a month, but we made it! (If I put underwear on her, she would forget she wasn't using a diaper, and just use it. She would go on the potty if naked though, so that made going potty the habit, instead of in her diaper.)
The thing is she used to stay dry for most naps and night time, but now she won't go potty unless she feels the urge, so usually will not go before she lays down. She just refuses. *shrug*
Oh well, that will come in time. I am just thrilled she is finally using it during the day. :)
Her 3rd birthday is on the 16th. Her party will be on the 17th. I am filling out invites as we speak. Of course, I didn't count before I bought, so I am a couple short, but oh well. I can just call a couple people.
I hurt my ankle on Saturday. I was walking downstairs, and was looking at what was in my hand instead of where I was going. I missed the last step and fell. So dumb. At least it wasn't the top step, and I didn't fall on my belly or anything. Anyway, it hurt enough that I cried, and could tell I did something, but after a couple minutes, I wasn't even limping. We figured it would get worse, but I over did it that day and by night my ankle hurt so bad I could hardly walk. It is much better today though. Still a little swollen and sore, but much better.
Here is my last project. It came out way too huge, but as it is the first dress I made from a pattern (except for doll clothes) I made it right from the pattern, and didn't try to fit it to Amelia. It is supposed to be a 4T, which is one size too big for Amelia. This thing turned out HUGE!!! LOL
I fixed it a bit, which made it not quite as nice as before, but at least now it stays on somewhat! LOL Here she is with an action shot.
I am not quite done with it. I am going to put some green ribbon around the waist, but otherwise it is done. She loves it! She says she is a princess when she wears it. :D The great thing about it is that the fabric cost me around $4, so I don't have to worry when she wears it. If it gets dirty or something, no biggy. ;0

It's a Girl! :)
It's another girl! I am very happy. I would have been happy with a boy too, but I was kinda hoping for another girl. ;) Of course, there is always that chance that boy parts were hiding, but there were a few really clear shots.... not just of missing parts, but of the three lines they look for.
Sorry it took me a while to post this. I have been really bad at keeping up with my stuff online lately.
The good news is that I have been a bit better at keeping up with my house. It is actually not a mess all the time. ;)
I have also been sewing a bit. Been busy making diapers, and I made some doll clothes and a sling for Amelia's dolls.
a few of the diapers
doll sling - I should have made it longer, but it works
doll dress and doll jammies... the jammies have a matching hat, but it doesn't fit on that dolls big head, lol
I am in the middle of making a dress for Amelia, and last night I did some scrapbooking for the first time in many months. I got 6 pages done though! :) My goal is to do a page a day until the baby is born so I can get somewhat caught up. I still don't have Amelia's baby book done (her first year of pics), and I have another baby coming!

Spring is finally here, and it is so nice out!!! Today it was around 80.
I have started working on my garden a bit. I planted some onions in the back of the garden the other day, and my neighbor is going to come in the next couple days and till the rest of the garden for me! Today I got some pots planted for the patio. Two with basil, one bigger herb one with Thyme, Oregano, Rosemary and Sage. I also planted a pot of Lavender, just for the pretty smell. I bought some tomatoes too, and planted a cherry one in a pot for our patio. The rest will go in the garden. I just hope we don't get any frost... (I think in MN we are supposed to wait until June 1st or something for frost sensitive plants.) Well, maybe I will get them in this week, and keep an eye on the weather. If it is supposed to get cold, I will go cover them up with a sheet, and hope it doesn't get too cold. Or maybe I will wait a couple weeks to plant them... I don't know.
I am going to wait to buy the rest of the frost sensitive plants until it is the right time. I need to get some lettuce and spinach in this week though.

Hurry up Spring, we are waiting for you!!!
It is cold here in MinnesotaLand... It was nice for a few days, then the cold snuck right back in. We are ready for her to show her face again! I am looking forward to planting my garden, and taking long walks, and just enjoying the warm SUN again!

Life
Life is good, but not much interesting to write about.
A summery.
I am on a "diet". Pretty much just eating a lot better, and keeping track of my calories. (It helps a lot to see how foods add up!) www.calorie-count.com and http://www.fitday.com/ are both good food journal/calorie counters.
I have also been following the book "Change One" which is totally not about counting calories, but the two things together have helped me a lot.
I have lost 7 pounds in just over 3 weeks. Pretty good I think. :)
I have also been teaching myself how to make bread.... and I don't mean with a bread machine. I have been doing it all by hand.
Some have flopped, but I have had a few loaves turn out good too. :D My biggest problem is that I have been experimenting with sourdough too, and that is more difficult. I didn't realize that until I made a few batches. Heh, heh.
I am also taking a self portrait every day for a year. It has been fun so far, but sometimes it is annyoing to take a picture when I feel ugly or whatever. I have been taking pics of Amelia too.
I think I am going to take a nap. ;)

A Little About Me
I am 28 years old. I am happily married, and we have the sweetest 2 year old little girl! I think of myself as easy going, fun, and a bit lazy. I can be shy at first, but once I get to know someone, I might not stop talking. ;) I am smart, but a bit of an airhead at the same time. (I always got A's and B's without studying in high school, but I would forget my head sometimes if it wasn't attached. I also am a terrible spelor.) I am a "wanna be artist", in that I love doing artsy things, but I am not very talented. lol I have terrible hand/eye coordination, and really, I am not very creative. I am loving sewing and scrapbooking, because you don't have to be perfect at either thing to make something that looks nice. (You can redo stuff!)I love to use parenthesis online. I guess it is my way of explaining things.I grew up on a hobby farm, in the middle of nowhere. The country is in my blood. It is hard for me to live in suburbia, but I know it is where I am meant to be for now, so I am ok. Someday in the not to distant future, I must get back to the country.I love animals! On that farm someday, I would love to have horses, a cow or two, some chickens, maybe some goats, and of course a dog or two. Right now we have two cats, and I have two fish tanks. I am a Christian. I love God, and know that He is watching over me and my family. I have total faith that He will provide for us, and will take us where we need to be. That doesn't mean that I have all the answers, or am always sure of why God does things the way He does. It does mean that I try to live my life for Him, and know He is taking care of us.Hmmm... I tend to start things and not finish. I get excited about a new hobby, or project, and it consumes me for quite a while, then withers away into nothing. I played Sims for over a year when it first came out. Hours and hours were spent on that game. Computer games in general took up a lot of my time before I had my daughter. Also the poor fish that I have. I was very "into" the tanks for a while, and now, although I love them, I don't think much of them except to feed and clean them. (I would still love to get a big tank someday though.) Some other things that I have gotten into then not done much with: watercolor painting, graphic stuff, cloth diapers, (I still use them on DD, and love them, I just don't search and buy anymore),photography, scrapbooking (although I am starting to work on this again.) You get the idea.
~I am a clutz. Just ask my husband. Heh, heh.
~I love milk, pizza, spaghetti and cookies.
~I am afraid to eat raw meat, and have never had raw fish sushi (or any kind for that matter.)
~I love to cook, but hate to clean.
~I don't snore, but do talk in my sleep at times.
~I love long hot baths.
~I don't like getting up early. Even growing up I loved to sleep in till noon.
~Love the country, hate the city. (Ok to visit, not to live.)
~I love shopping, if I have the money, and am in the mood. I am a bargain shopper big time. I get so excited when I get a good deal that I have to tell everyone.
~I love to read. I have been known to stay up all night to finish a good book.
~I am messy. I tend to leave things until they get out of hand. You should see my desk right now. (Not much desk to see under all the paper and things. lol )
~I am not gross mess though. I don't let dirty dishes lay around the house, or food.... YUCK! (The dishes will pile up on the counter though.)
~I love spring, and summer, and fall, and winter all for their own reasons. I am in MN though, so I do wish winter wouldn't last so long.
~I love MN though. We were in Denver for two years, and although the weather and lack of mosquitoes were great, the lack of water, and green, and family were not.
~I love being a mother.
I always knew I wanted to be a mom. One of the reasons I didn't push myself to go to college after "taking a year off" was because I knew I wanted to be home with my kids. Thank God I fell in love with someone who was able to make that happen for me.
On the other hand, I actually really like school, and would like to go back just for the sake of school. When my kids are all in school, I will probably go back for something or other... :) My life hasn't been perfect. In fact, I have had some pretty messed up parts mixed in with the good. Overall though, my life is what has made me, me, and I am pretty happy with how I turned out.
